I went to film school to learn the craft, but I had to teach myself the history. After realizing my education didn't include many female filmmaker (despite the fact that women, myself included, made up more than half of every class) I launched the Fatale Bella podcast to give women the spotlight they deserve. That mission has since grown into a production company built on grit, vision, and the courage to quit my 9-to-5. Now, with two film projects in development and my journey being documented in The Final Cut, I’m proving that you don’t need permission to change the industry. You just need to be brave enough to start the camera.
